What is FOE?
The Federation of Osteopaths of Spain (FOE) is a federation that seeks to group together the Spanish associations of Osteopathic professionals whose members meet the academic criteria specified by the WHO and the European Federation&Forum for Osteopaths.
What we do?
Our main objective is to promote the regulation of Osteopathy in Spain and the implementation of the European Standard EN-16686:2015 on "Provision of health care" in our country. In this way, we seek to consolidate the practice of Osteopathy following the academic, professional and ethical criteria specified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and published in the "Benchmarks for Training in Osteopathy" (2010).
Membership?
Associations wishing to join FOE must submit an application together with a copy of their statutes and registration in the Register of Associations.

Osteopathy
As stated in the European Standard EN-16686:2015 on "Health Care Provision", Osteopathy is a patient-centered, first intention health discipline, which emphasizes the interrelationship of structure and function of the body, facilitates the body's innate ability to heal itself, and advocates a whole person approach to all aspects of health and healthy development, through the practice of manual treatment.
